  1. Denis Bouanga is a good player but he is not a world class player like Messi. There is a clear representation of this at 8' when Bouanga has Vela wide open to his right. He clearly sees him wide open yet opts selfishly shoot the ball in hopes of glory. If he would have passed the ball, it most likely would have been a goal and may have changed the course of the game. In a nearly identical situation at 82', even when already up by two goals, Messi unselfishly opted to pass the ball to a wide open Campana leading to a goal that put the game hopelessly out of reach for LAFC.

  2. I’ve been on the Messi wagon the whole journey. But i’m not liking a lot of American commentary. I can see why they have not progressed as quickly.
Miami did not dominate this game, well at least not the first half. LA was eating them up n if not for one man, not Messi, n bad finishing, Miami coulda n shoulda been down bad. Europeans clubs wouldn’t make so many mistakes.

  3. This is my first time watching a MLS match.
They are faaaar behind elite level. At times is painful to watch them, knowing the best player ever existed is in that field.

That 99 guy from LA is a complete idiot. If it was another striker, LA would have won this match. Maybe it is a diversity hire.
